177 The outside was brought in to transform this ceremony and cocktail hour into an urban setting at this downtown Birmingham venue. Eclectic furnishings combined florals in rich hues of red, blue and purple that also adorned the geometric hexagon shelving for the ceremony. The cascading fresh floral garland included hydrangea, allium, celosia, hanging Amaranthus, lilies, Southern Smilax, roses and tulips, which were enhanced by varying sizes of white pillar candles. This showstopping display featured a naturalistic backdrop behind the three-tiered naked cake, which sat atop a gold stand surrounded featured florals and fresh greenery.
