193 After the ceremony was a break to relax and do wardrobe changes to prepare for the formal reception. Before the reception, at the final event of the evening, guests enjoyed an appetizer and cocktail hour. The formal reception welcomed guests to a gorgeous tablescape of lush floral arrangements sitting atop stunning gold centerpieces above single pink roses in tiny gold vases, gold candles and crystal glasses. The ornate china provided a grand place setting of gold, ivory and magenta. Crowned with a nouveau loveseat on a vintage Turkish rug, the grand stage was adorned with lavish rich draping and cascading florals. The dance floor featured a large peacock with amazing colors in rich hues of reds, blues, golds and purples. No celebration is complete without a wedding cake. This elaborate six-tiered aqua-blue cake was accented with gold elephants and pops of magenta and crimson florals which sat atop a flowing purple ombre linen.
