bourbon street rehearsal This shoot was a fabulous Southern soiree, bringing the flavors of New Orleans alongside a traditional, elegant tablescape. Some of the South's most popular flowers, like roses, dahlias and orchids, donned this checkered Mackenzie Child dining table, while acrylic dining chairs brought a modern touch to the event. The black and white table stood out even more through the dramatic, monochromatic color palette, with rich reds finding their way around the room, from the drapery to the dishes. This menu was made for seafood lovers, with inspiration from our neighbors on the Gulf. Classic Cajun dishes such as oyster po' boys, stuffed jalepe ñ os, and shrimp and grits were elevated into sophisticated appetizers, while chicken gumbo and crawfish etoufe é were the star dishes of the night.
