W "Weather in Alabama can be unpredictable - and one of the main reasons brides may reserve a tent for their wedding. Tents may be fully enclosed and heated or cooled to keep your guests comfortable throughout your event. Tents also provide shade relief from the intense Alabama sun. Location is another factor. A lot of families own beautiful pieces of property or homes with gorgeous landscaped yards, and tents help turn outdoor space into an event space. Special Events has built tents on private property for weddings hosting hundreds of guests that were able to enjoy cocktail hour, live bands, dancing and plated meals all under a tent." - Shannon Corbel, Special Events "There are many different types of tents – clearspan tents, frame tents, pole tents, sailcloth tents – it just depends on what your vision is for your event! Our tent sales rep can talk you through the different options and recommend a tent for your event." - Becky Graham, Event Rentals Unlimited "It helps to have an idea of how many people you are expecting and what items are going under the tent for the ceremony or reception. Are you going to have a dance foor with a band, seating tables, cake tables, buffet tables? All of these items take up space and will need to be factored into calculating the size of the tent that will best ft your event." - Shannon Corbel, Special Events hat factors may infuence the need for a tent? A re different types of tents available? W hat does a bride need to know when inquiring about tent rentals? Our sales representatives can assist you in choosing which foor best fts your needs, as there are a wide variety of fooring options – from a simple lay down foor to an extravagant level foor or even a clear foor to go over your pool!" - Becky Graham, Event Rentals Unlimited C an you recommend other items or services to complete a tent's look? "If you are hosting an outdoor wedding you should include a tent in your rain plan from the beginning. All tent companies will have different policies for rain plans. Most will require a deposit to hold the tent for your specifc date and require confrmation fve to seven days before your event date. If it's been raining, cold or extremely hot the week before your wedding, you may want to reserve your tent as soon as possible. If you wait until the day before your wedding, and many companies may be sold out or you may run out of time to have one set up. Tents are large rental items and rental companies may only have a few of each size available year round." - Shannon Corbel, Special Events ow far before a wedding can a couple contact you in case of an emergency? event rentals unlimited / armosa studios photo provided by event rentals unlimited
